Hi, Iā€™m tessa blue.

My entire life I have been drawn to people, I love making connections and helping others. I have worked directly with families for over twelve years; in behavioral therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician, and in psychology research at the University of Denver with mothers and their young children. I am passionate about infant care and about sharing my knowledge to promote health, mindfulness, and the most beneficial outcomes for babies and their parents in the first influential weeks of life. I grew up in Seattle, earned my B.S. degree in Family and Child Studies in Albuquerque, and have lived in beautiful Colorado for five years now. I have completed my thorough Postpartum Doula training through BirthWorks International. In my spare time, I enjoy doing yoga with my husband, hiking with our two dogs, and connecting with friends over good food.

My Approach

I take a very mindful approach to my work as a postpartum doula. It is my belief that all parents have the power within them to be amazing caregivers. It is my goal to instill confidence in you to trust your instincts, while providing evidence-based infant care skills that you can apply hands-on to your parenting, for the most beneficial outcomes for you and your baby. I aim to ease your load in the first weeks and months after your new baby is born, so that your family can enjoy this period with peace and love.
